While studying at FIAT for a full two-year programme, under current rules you are eligible to work:
- As a full-time student, you can work up to 20 hours a week during study periods and full-time in statutory holidays. Please see the visa conditions in your passport. Read more at www.immigration.govt.nz
- After a successful completion of the study, you can apply for an Accredited Employer Work visa of up to three-year period.
- Minimum wage from April 2023 is $22.70/hour and the training wage is $18.16/hour. Read more at www.employment.govt.nz
