DURATION

TWO YEAR: Forty weeks/year (four quarters of 10 weeks/year)

TIME REQUIRED

Three days (20 hours) on site, and 12-13 hours of directed selfstudy/week which includes 5-8 hours of workplace experience.

First week of January, April, July, and October each year

250 Credits (Nursery Production strand)

ENTRY CRITERIA: Applicants must:
  • Be 18 years of age or above
  • Have completed NCEA L2 or Senior secondary or equivalent/above
  • English language competence: IELTS (Academic) 5.5 no band less than5, or NZCEL L4 (General/Employment), PToE 42 (Academic) with no score less than 36 or equivalent. www.nzqa.govt.nz
  • Be physically fit to complete practical aspects of the course
  • Comply with the NZ Immigration requirements for student visa

students are eligible for 20 hours/week work rights during study and full time during statutory
